Matt Wiley is the Director of Portfolio Management and a Senior Vice President in PlainsCapital Bank’s Wealth Management and Trust division in Fort Worth, serving in a fiduciary capacity to help both individual and institutional clients achieve financial goals as they relate to strategic investment and asset allocation decisions. Including prior roles, Mr. Wiley has almost two decades of experience in the financial services industry.
Having grown up in Fort Worth, he attended All Saints Episcopal School and Arlington Heights High School. He then began his collegiate experience at Texas Christian University before transferring to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with majors in Management and Marketing. He then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Currently, he is an active Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, and has served as an officer for the DFW Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy’s Board of Directors since 2012.
Mr. Wiley is married to Tracy Wiley, also native to Fort Worth and an elementary school teacher in Arlington ISD. Together, they have a pair of identical twin sons, Brayden and Rayne, which were born in 2009. The Wiley family has lived in Arlington since 2017.
