Tim Weil is Managing Partner of Providence Capital Partners, L.P., a private investment partnership specializing in strategic investments, leveraged acquisitions and recapitalizations of well-established companies. Mr. Weil has served in this role since 1996. Additionally, Mr. Weil serves as Managing Partner of EKW Partners, L.P., a broader-focused, special situations investment partnership.
Mr. Weil currently serves on the Board of Directors of Metroplex Christian Hockey Association, the largest adult hockey Ministry in the world. In addition he serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Three Designing Women, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer and marketer of high-end personalization marking products. Mr. Weil currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy, as well as Executives In Action, and he serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Boy Scouts of America – Circle 10 Council.
Mr. Weil is married to Susan Hurd Weil, a teacher of Advanced Placement Statistics and Mathematics at Episcopal School of Dallas, who was graduated from Duke University and the masters program of The University of Texas. Susan and Tim have one daughter, Margaux, who just celebrated her first birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Weil’s church home is Highland Park United Methodist Church. Mr. Weil is a longstanding member of The Idlewild Club, the oldest formal society club in Texas. In addition to supporting a number of community churches throughout the country, Mr. Weil and his wife actively support non-profit organizations based in the community, including schools, a children’s hospital and other care organizations, mission ministries, and environmental groups, as well as organizations for the performing arts, to name a few.
