


Chaplain Doni Evans
Chaplain Doni Evans has volunteered with the Chaplaincy program since xxxx. In addition to serving as a volunteer Associate Chaplain, Doni has worked as a Fire Department Chaplain with the Fort Worth Fire Department since 1985. He is highly skilled in Emergency Medical Services and Crisis Intervention and works to help others improve their lives, effectively resulting in a healthier, brighter tomorrow.
Doni is a Victim Relief Ministries Chaplain and has assisted the Dallas Police Department with spiritual support in that capacity. From 2004-2008 he spent four years working at Hospice of the West, conducting spiritual assessments on hospice patients and weekly Bible study to residents at various healthcare facilities and providing spiritual support to hospice patients and their families.
In 2007 and 2008, Doni was a Guest Lecturer in Sofia, Bulgaria to the Christian School of Bishop Vasil Elenkov, teaching classes in crisis intervention and domestic violence to Masters-level students.
Doni earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarrant County College in 1996, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University in 1998, and in 2003 a Master's Degree in Biblical Ministerial Counseling from Tyndale Theological Seminary. In 2006, Doni successfully completed Advanced Pastoral Leadership Studies at Christ for the Nations.
Doni serves at the Chaplaincy on Sunday afternoons, ministering to the military men and women who are departing for the Middle East Theatre of Operations. He also spends time ministering and counseling to the family members of active and reserve duty troops.
