How do I contact a Chaplain when I'm at the airport?

Call the Chaplaincy office at 972-973-2665; if your need is due to an emergency and there is no answer at the office number, please call our Head Chaplain, DD Hayes, at 972-207-2916.

Do you have services during the week or on the weekend?

The Chaplaincy has Catholic, Protestant (non-denominational) and Catholic services every week. You will find a current service schedule here.

We'd like to get married at one of the Chapels located at the airport. Is that possible?

Absolutely! Chaplain Les Grounds handles weddings for the Chaplaincy and he would love to visit with you to coordinate the perfect Airport wedding for you and your fiance. Please call 972-973-2665 or send a quick email to dfwaic@gmail.com with your request and contact information and Chaplain Les will be in touch within 48 hours.

I didn't know there was a Chapel at DFW International Airport. How long has it been there?

The DFW Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy was founded in 1977, and currently there are five Chapels located at DFW International Airport (one in each terminal). All of our Chapels are interfaith by design, meaning anyone of any religious preference or faith is welcome to respectfully use the space for personal reflection, prayer or quiet time. Reading materials for many faiths and in different languages are available in all our Chapels, as well as prayer rugs.

Where are the Chapels located?

Each terminal has it's own Chapel. Click here for locations and other helpful information.

Is the Chaplaincy owned by the Airport? How are you funded?

The Chaplaincy is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, funded by the benevolence of individual donors, foundations, churches, judicatories and corporations, including DFW International Airport. The Chaplaincy plays an integral role within the Airport and we appreciate and enjoy the welcoming spirit and support shown to us by the Airport's administration since our earliest days.

I'd like to support the Chaplaincy. How can I help?

There are several ways to show your support for the fine work being done by our Chaplains. In addition to making a donation, we have several volunteer opportunities for folks with an open heart and willing hands and feet! We'd also love your help in spreading the word about our great program - here is an easy and fun way to get started.

I have a prayer request. Will your Chaplains pray for me?

We would be honored to pray for you! Every prayer request we receive is prayed over and responded to (if you choose to include your contact information). There are several ways to share your prayer requests, including turning in a prayer request card while you're at the airport (cards and drop-offs are located in each Chapel), sending an email to dfwaic@gmail.com or completing an online prayer request.
